CGM 1.15 - Routing Workspace Update
Important operating information
CGM now separates configuration evidence from delivery proof. An amber result means Microsoft 365 is configured or expected to route mail that way; a green result is reserved for delivery that CGM has actually proved.
The Configuration Wizard analyses an address, recommends an appropriate supported object type with a match percentage, shows Current vs Proposed, and requires review before a write. Structural changes use staged replacement rather than assuming Microsoft 365 can convert every object type in place.
CGM records supported changes in Audit & Rollback History and independently re-reads Microsoft 365 after writes. Exchange changes can take several minutes to propagate, so a newly applied change may remain pending until Microsoft 365 reports the new state.
Full Tenant Report, Selected Scan and Retry Failed are diagnostic tools. Findings can be drilled into to expose duplicate paths, forwarding and recipient-changing rules. CGM only offers an automatic correction when a fresh pre-flight can preserve the complete eventual-recipient set.
Delivery Assurance now records message lifecycle evidence. Where Microsoft 365 permissions allow it, CGM reports whether the diagnostic was found in Inbox, Junk Email, Deleted Items, Archive or another mailbox folder. Automatic trace cleanup is off by default and, when enabled, only runs after evidence is captured.
The User Guide remains available from the sidebar while Microsoft 365 source data loads.
